Fixing carving mistakes:

Everyone makes mistakes. It is part of the proces of creating fine art. If you make a mistake try to fix it naturally using the balsa you are working on. If you can not, simply take some extra balsa and glue it to that section. You may have to sand it down, but this will allow you to correct a major mistake without starting over.

Painting the project:

When painting the project make sure that you examine your project form every direction. You want to ensure that every bit of the gold is covered by your paint.

Remember to paint all the sides as well.
