Sharon uses course sand paper as the background for this project. She cuts some matboard or cardboard strength pieces of paper to transfer the acrylics (you could use a palette knife or something similar). She cuts some kitchen sponges into small pieces. As you can see, the students can share the pallet and the tile. The colors do not need to be exact. You can find the closest approximate color you like.
