Notes:  See Sharon’s specific recommendations by clicking on the purchase supply button even if you want to purchase supplies at other stores.

Pastels: We have listed the individual colors in your supply list.  However, if you enjoy pastels and want to save money you can purchase them in a box of 60 colors.  Just find the color that best matches the swatch in the lesson.  I am recommending two different options.

Option 1:  Blick Soft Pastels (60 half stick set) $53 (middle of the road and yet usable) At Blick This is the Item ID  21948-1606

Option 2:  Unison (60 half stick set) $179 At Blick this is the Item ID 20048-2063

*Remember if you purchase these half stick sets, that will affect the chart below as you can only break them into 2 pieces.I like to use the best pastels I can find such as Sennelier or Schmincke and I mention them in my videos.  However, they don’t come in half sticks.  The Unison brand is just as good as these brands and you will absolutely love them!  They come in half sticks.

Black Artigain Paper:  Even though you could use black construction paper, Sharon recommends this paper as it will stay black and not gray down after a time period.
