The art period known as Romanticism lasted from approximately AD 1777-1850. The goal of the artist was to present a romanticized vision of life. In this project Sharon will teach students how to paint in the Romantic style. Romanticism is known by its light contrasts and the ethereal feeling it evokes. This project is a level 2 in difficulty. Parents should be nearby for younger students as the paint requires turpentine to remove from carpet.
